MARBLE HILL -- Charley William Cook, 88, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Sept. 24, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 18, 1906, near Mayfield, the son of Adam Lee and Kizzie Caroline Langston Cook.
He married Radie James on Dec. 27, 1927. She preceded him in death on Sept. 20, 1944.
Survivors, all from Marble Hill, include one son, Clyde Cook; three daughters, Helen Crader, Ruth Long and Margie Kirkpatrick; four brothers, Tom Cook, Perl Cook, Rev. Grover Cook and John Dave Cook; three sisters, Annie Long, Ruby Hanners and Iva Nelson; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home here.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Fulbright and Rev. Steven Sander officiating. Burial will be in the Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus.
