CHARLETTE J. AVERITT

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Charlette J. Averitt, 62, of Sikeston and formerly of Miner, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 26, 1938 in Morehouse, daughter of Charles and Rozella Hubbard Bryan Sr.

She and Raymond Averitt were married on Nov. 25, 1970.

She lived for a while in Aurora, Colo., where she was a member of the Church of Aurora.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Lance Averitt of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Sandra Adkinson of Spearfish, S.D., Kelly Lenderink of Kiowa, Colo., and Holly Zuhse of Aurora; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. Monday.

Funeral will be held at 10:30 Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dolan Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
