Charles E. Wisdom, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, in Cape Girardeau. He was born June 28, 1943, at Bunker, Mo., son of Leonard and Ellen Wilkins Wisdom. He and Pat Keister were married Aug. 17, 1968, at Bunker. Wisdom lived in Bunker and Piedmont, Mo., many years. He was a warehouse worker for an electric company. Charles E. Wisdom, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 28, 1943, at Bunker, Mo., son of Leonard and Ellen Wilkins Wisdom. He and Pat Keister were married Aug. 17, 1968, at Bunker.

Wisdom lived in Bunker and Piedmont, Mo., many years. He was a warehouse worker for an electric company. He was licensed to preach at Brushy Creek Baptist Church in St. Mary, Mo.

He sang many years in various gospel and bluegrass groups. He was a past master of the Masonic Lodge in Ellington and Marble Hill, Mo., and a past patron of Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Eva Barnes of Annapolis, Mo.; his mother, Ellen Roney of Salem, Mo.; three brothers, Robert, Gary and David Wisdom of Bunker; four sisters, Wanda Gers and Dorothy Akins of Bunker, Vaera Luttrell of Salem, Mo., Deborah Batson of Park Hills, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

The funeral was held Saturday at the Tabernacle in Bunker, with Kenneth Parker officiating. Burial was in Greeley Cemetery at Bunker.

Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel at Piedmont was in charge of arrangements.
