SIKESTON -- Funeral for Charles B. Wilburn of Sikeston will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. Dr. Jim Guffie will officiate, with burial in Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn. Wilburn, 60, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, at his home. He was born Sept. 25, 1938, at LaValle, son of Melvin and Bessie Tucker Wilburn. He and Janet Norton were married Sept. 15, 1960...

Wilburn, 60, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, at his home.

He was born Sept. 25, 1938, at LaValle, son of Melvin and Bessie Tucker Wilburn. He and Janet Norton were married Sept. 15, 1960.

Wilburn was a training supervisor 22 years at Noranda Aluminum. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Michelle Perry and Teresa Tumbleson of Sikeston; and three grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
