BENTON, Mo. -- Charles Ray Walker, 76, of Benton died Friday, April 29, 2011, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 23, 1934, in Paden, Okla., son of Floyd and Alice Walker.
Walker was the beloved husband of Dorothy Kirkpatrick Walker and the late Shirley Ann Golightly Walker; dear father of Thomas (Tonia) Walker, Roy (Diane Dunlap) Walker, Mike (Donna) Walker, Troy (Diane) Walker; stepfather of Laura Pridemore; dear grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served overseas during the Korean conflict.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 3775 in Cape Girardeau. A dinner will be held at 4.
Memorial visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. May 28 at First Baptist Church in Kellyville, Okla.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. May 28, with graveside service at 3 p.m. at West Lawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Okla.
