SHOOK, Mo. -- Charles W. Thompson, 68, of Shook died Friday, June 1, 2001, at his home.
He was born Jan. 20, 1933, in Parma, Mo., son of Florce Ray and Alma Shelby Thompson. He had lived in St. Louis for 45 years before moving to Shook. He was employed at McDonnell Aircraft for 42 years. He was a member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge and a former member and past Master of the Erwin Masonic Lodge of St. Louis.
He and Mary V. Brantley were married July 7, 1959, at Piggott, Ark.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Donald Thompson of Shook; one daughter, Dianna Lynn Douthit of Florissant, Mo.; two sisters, Mable Kirk of St. Louis and Margaret Ryals of Hobart, Ind.; and three grandsons.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Mo. Masonic services will be conducted by the Greenville Masonic Lodge. Funeral will follow, with the Rev. LeRoy Hefner officiating.
Burial will be in Shook Cemetery in Shook.
