CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Charles Mitchel Owens, 37, of Chaffee died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at his home.
He was born Oct. 21, 1966, in Cape Girardeau, son of Floyd Mitchel and Barbara Ann Nanney Owens.
Owens was a former self-employed truck driver. He was a member of New Life Gospel Center in Scott City.
Survivors include his parents of Chaffee; two brothers, Floyd Owens Jr. of Bell City, Mo., Christopher Owens of Clarksville, Ark.; a sister, Wendy Menz of Bell City; maternal grandmother, Anna Nanney of Chaffee, maternal grandfather and stepgrandmother, Jack and Barbara Nanney of Chaffee.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at New Life Gospel Center, with the Rev. Jack Owens officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Friends may call at the church Thursday from noon until time of service.
