ANNA, Ill. -- Charles N. Glover, 89, of Anna, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1994, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born Jan. 6, 1905, in Magnolia, son of Frederick Lester and Georgiana Rolley Glover. He and Ethel Parr were married June 16, 1934.
Glover received a bachelor's degree in agriculture science at the University of Illinois, and master of science in agricultural service at Southern Illinois University.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, A-J Rotary Club, Epsilon Sigma Phi fraternity, Anna-Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce, and was a Paul Harris Fellow.
Glover was a former chapter chairman of Union County Red Cross, former chairman of the United Fund, and former member of the RAVE board.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Barbara Smith of Birmingham, Mich., Joyce Glover of Torrance, Calif.; two grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Richard Sullins and Jack Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
