CHARLES LINT

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Charles E. Lint, 73, of Perryville died Monday, June 26, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 27, 1927, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son of Ira and Lettie Mae Larson Lint. He and Mary Lou Higdon were married Dec. 14, 1946, in Cedar Rapids.

Lint was owner/operator of Chuck Lint Construction. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, and member and former adjutant of American Legion Post 94 in Stevensville, Mont.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Sherry Munn and Bobbi Sommerfelt of Houston, Texas, Janie Amendt of Marshalltown, Iowa, Vicki Houck of Missoula, Mont.; a brother, Elzo Lint of Perryville; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.

A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at Legion Lake. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz will officiate.
