PERRYVILLE -- Charles S. LaRose Sr., 70, of Perryville died Sunday, Sept. 27, 1998, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 24, 1928, at Perry County, son of Peter Charles and Cecelia Balsman LaRose. He and Lucille K. Brayfield were married on May 23, 1953, at St. Louis.
LaRose was a maintenance worker for the state highway department. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles S. LaRose Jr. and Richard L. LaRose, both of Perryville; six daughters, Marcia Comstock of St. Louis, Cecelia LaRose, Linda Tarillion, Cathy LaRose and Melissa Bachmann, all of Perryville, and Diana Howe of Old Appleton; three sisters, Loretta Hill of Indiana, Ina Miller of St. Louis, and Leanna Mars of De Soto; 15 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard Lause will officiate, with burial at Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
