CHARLESTON -- Charles H. Howard, 53, of Charleston, died Wednesday, May 24, 1995, at his home.
He was born June 7, 1942, in Charleston, son of W.B. and Girl Lee Moore Howard.
Survivors include six sons, Charles Howard Jr. of Carbondale, Ill., Robert Howard of Rockford, Ill., Eugene Anderson of Charleston, Calvin Woods of Kansas City, Robert Woods of Minnesota, Charlie Bell of Bloomington, Ill.; three daughters, Michelle Howard of Rockford, Felica Anderson of Charleston, Tonya Reed of Bloomington; two brothers, Sterling and Benny Howard of Chicago; three sisters, Mildred Melvin of Chicago, Barbara Harris of Aurora, Ill., Pauline Williams of Michigan, and 20 grandchildren.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Matthew Baptist Church, with the Rev. Lavern Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
