SIKESTON -- Charles H. Boyce, 92, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 23, 1901, in Ware, Ill., son of Henry Willis and Mary Markert Boyce. He and Lucille Green were married April 11, 1929. She died Dec. 22, 1989.
Boyce was owner/operator of Boyce Farm Equipment Co. of Sikeston and East Prairie. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he taught a youth Sunday School class 21 years, served as Sunday School superintendent and served on the church administrative board. He was a charter member and past president of Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Bill Boyce of Sikeston; three daughters, Barbara Johsens of Santa Cruz, Calif., Linda Steward of Sikeston, Charlotte Craig of Gordonville; two sisters, Irene Johnson and Ruth Hess of Anna, Ill., 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and five sisters.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles E. Buck will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to service time Friday.
