Charles Lee Fisher Sr., 64, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born July 4, 1939, in Ottumwa, Iowa, son of Keith Charles and Virginia M. Castle Fisher. He and Sharon A. Petary were married March 9, 1960, at Ottumwa.

Fisher was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for Aramark for over 22 years in Overland Park, Kan.; he moved to Cape Girardeau in March 2001. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Virginia M. Fisher Degeus of Ottumwa; five sons, Charles L. Fisher Jr., Kenneth Fisher, Tomas Fisher, all of Cape Girardeau, John Fisher of Moline, Ill., Kevin Fisher of Lenexa, Kan.; five brothers, William Fisher of Ottumwa, Robert Fisher of Oran, Ill., Patrick Fisher of St. Paul, Minn., Michael Fisher of Coon Rapids, Minn., James Fisher of Augusta, Ga.; three sisters, Judy Shannon of Geneseo, Ill., Lavonne Radloff of Indianapolis, Ind., Francine Fisher of Bloomfield, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Frank Sharp and Tom Morris officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
