Charles F. Seibert, 79, of Nashville, Ill. died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Charles F. Seibert, 79, of Nashville, Ill. died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 2, 1914, at Perry County, Ill., the son of Louis D. and Emma L. Nehrkorn Seibert. On June 2, 1945, he married Florence K. Elermeyer, who survives of the home.

He worked as a farmer and construction contractor and was a deputy sheriff in Washington County, Ill. for several years. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and the Laborers Union Local #548 in Nashville. He also was a member of Nashville Senior Citizens.

Other survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Robinson of Cape Girardeau, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a grandson.

Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Monday and until 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville. The Rev. Dale Bartels will officiate, and burial will be in the Tamaroa Cemetery in Tamaroa, Ill.
