CHARLES EDWARD MILLS

SIKESTON -- Charles Edward Mills, 47, of Marion, Ind., died Sunday, July 11, 1999, in Marion.

He was born Oct. 17, 1951, in Sikeston, the son of Cleophis and Willie B. Steward Mills of rural Oran. He graduated from Scott County Central High School in 1971.

Survivors include his parents; three sons, Toby Howard of Charleston, Elgin Mills of Sikeston and Adam Mills of West Virginia; a daughter, Valarie Mills of Sikeston; four brothers, Eddie Mills of rural Oran, Cleophis J. Mills Jr. of Marion, Ind., Michael J. Mills of Indianapolis, Ind., and Ronnie Mills of rural Sikeston; two sisters, Vicky Andrews and Twana Townsend of Sikeston; three grandchildren and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Greers Chapel Mission Baptist Church, with the Rev. Cleophis J. Mills Jr. officiating.

Burial will be at the Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
