EAST PRAIRIE -- Charles Edward Parham, 61, of East Prairie, died Monday, Sept. 16, 1991, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Aug. 19, 1930, in Hugo, Okla., son of Henry M. and Ada B. Myers Parham.
He married Janie Chanley in Piggott, Ark., on July 27, 1950.
Parham had lived since 1936 in Mississippi County, where he was a retired custodian for the First Church of God in East Prairie. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church in East Prairie.
Survivors are his wife; one son, Charles Parham Jr., East Prairie; two daughters, Patricia Parham, East Prairie, and Sharon Parham Medina, Minot, N.D.; three brothers, Dan Parham, Fort Towson, Okla., Hubert Parham, Tucson, Ariz. and Glen Parham, Palmyra, Pa.; and three sisters, Virginia Robbins, Paris, Texas, Roberta Harvey, Sikeston, and Betty Litchford, Green Castle, Ind.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. The Rev. Mike Johnson will officiate. Friends may call today after 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
