GLEN ALLEN -- Charles Dry, 70, of Glen Allen, died Wednesday, March 29, 1995, at his home. He was born March 14, 1925, in St. Louis, son of Norval L. and Lillie Hendley Dry. GLEN ALLEN -- Charles Dry, 70, of Glen Allen, died Wednesday, March 29, 1995, at his home.

He was born March 14, 1925, in St. Louis, son of Norval L. and Lillie Hendley Dry. He and Goldie Marie McIntyre were united in marriage Aug. 7, 1948.

Dry was a retired assembly line worker with General Motors. He was a member of Glen Allen First Pentecostal Church and Trowell Masonic Lodge 440 in Marble Hill.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Donald Dry of Cape Girardeau, David Dry of Glen Allen, Daniel Dry of Guston, Ky.; three daughters, Donna Dry of Cape Girardeau, Diane Self of Marble Hill, Debra Deck of Warrensburg; two brothers, Paul Dry of Glen Allen, Junior Dry of St. Louis; five sisters, Dora Boyers and Lorene Hunter of St. Louis, Opal Moore of Scopus, Bertha Hunter of Biloxi, Miss., Helen Trichel of Cahokia, Ill.; 14 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glen Allen First Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Ivan Dowd will officiate, with burial in Baker Cemetery.
