Charles Dennison

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Charles Dennison, son of the late Charles "C.B." and Letha Joiner Dennison, was born Dec. 14, 1937, in Portageville, Missouri, and departed this life Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Hunter Acres Care Center in Sikeston, Missouri, at the age of 82.

In 1954, he was united in marriage to JoAnn McClain in Chaffee. She preceded him in death.

Charles was a former production manager with Tyson Foods Inc. in Dexter, Missouri, for many years, and a former resident of Chaffee.

Survivors include sons, Gary Dennison and Terry Dennison, both of Troy, Missouri, Larry Dennison of Mexico, Missouri, Robert Dennison and Paul Dennison, both of St. Louis; daughter, Tonya Morefield of Portageville; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Brad Dennison, and by a sister, Faith Dennison.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Callum Reavey officiating.
