Charles Daniel

ST. LOUIS -- Charles Parker Daniel, 73, of St. Louis passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, at Garden View Care Center in Chesterfield, Missouri.

He was born July 22, 1947, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Howard Eugene and Loagene Parker Daniel. He and Mary Ann were married May 8, 1981. She preceded him in death March 19, 2016.

Charles served in the U.S. Army. He retired from First State Community Bank in Cape Girardeau as bank president after seven years, and had attended Centenary United Methodist Church. He loved Ole Miss and Corvettes.

Survivors include his son, Christopher (Ashleigh) Daniel of St. Louis; grandchildren, Decker, Evie Claire and Mary Catherine Daniel, all of St. Louis; sisters, Susan Harris of Water Valley, Mississippi, and Nancy (John) Alexander of Austin, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Ann.

Private graveside service with full military rites has been held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
