CHAFFEE -- Charles "Bud" Sallee, 64, of Chaffee died Friday, March 5, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Sept. 26, 1934, at London, Ark., son of J.C. and Altha Greener Sallee.
He was owner and operator of Sallee Plumbing, Heating and Electrical Co. in Oran. He was also a member of the Oran Baptist Church and the Sikeston Eagles Club.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a machine operator.
On June 30, 1991, he married Sue Burnett Bond. She survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Altha Sallee of Oran; a son, Charles E. Sallee Jr. of Oran; a stepson, Scott Bond of Advance; two daughters, Janet Pobst of Chaffee and Crystal Todt of Oran; two stepdaughters, Jerri Menz of Delta and Tammy Ancell of Chaffee; two sisters, Dorothy Crain and Betty Nall, both of Branson; five grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Joe Payne officiating, assisted by the Rev. Watis Harrell. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
