CHARLES BOYD MCCLARD

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Charles Boyd McClard, 49, of Chaffee died Thursday, May 24, 2001, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion, Ill.

He was born June 30, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Arnold and Julia Richardson McClard. He married Marilyn Hahn on March 8, 1976. She survives.

He was a mechanic. He served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his mother, Julia Winder of Cape Girardeau; a son, Clinton McClard of Chaffee; a brother, Dick McClard of Cape Girardeau; and a half-sister, Mary Strong of Kellyville, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating.
