SCOTT CITY -- Charles Eugene Berry, 67, of Scott City died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, at his home.
He was born May 8, 1930, in St. Louis, son of Homer Cecil and Gladys C. Decker Berry.
Berry was a cabin attendant with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He moved to Scott City 25 years ago from St. Louis.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a life member of VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Berry of Madisonville, Tenn., Larry Berry of Tucson, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Gray officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
