GLEN ALLEN -- Funeral service for Charles A. Burner of Glen Allen will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Glen Allen Baptist Church.
The Rev. Ray Meek will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeland Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lakeland, Fla.
Mr. Burner died Saturday at the Bond Nursing Care Center in Marble Hill. He was 83.
He was born April 7, 1907 at Centerville, Ind. to the late John and Ella Jackson Burner.
Survivors include two sons, Leo Gene Burner of Connersville, Ind. and Robert Burner of Warsaw, Ind.; two daughters, Quelda Meek of Glen Allen and Sharon Sullivan of Hagerstown, Ind.; a brother, Homer Burner of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister, Hazel Patterson of Dublin, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister and three grandchildren.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Glen Allen Baptist Church, where Liley Funeral Home of Marble Hill is in charge of the arrangements.
