SIKESTON -- Wilma Charlene Pointer, 65, of Matthews died Friday, Dec. 30, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born May 28, 1929, in Marshall, Ark., to the late Walter and Ressie Tredwell Eaton. On Aug. 21, 1945, in Canalou she married Ernest Pointer, who survives.
She was a sales clerk for J.C. Penney Co., and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Canalou.
Survivors include one son, Randy Pointer of Matthews; one daughter, Jeannie Malloy of Sikeston; two brothers, Willard Eaton of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Blaine Eaton of Jenson Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Virginia Lee Sadnick of Morris, Ill., and Betty Brokaw of Peru, Ill.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Mike Cartwright officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
