CHARLENE KAUFMAN

EAST CAPE GIRARDEAU, Ill. -- Charlene Swan Kaufman, 33, of East Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at her home.

She was born in Cape Girardeau Jan. 13, 1965, daughter of Charles and Shirley Sprengel Swan.

She and Thomas E. Kaufman were married Aug. 19, 1983, in Cape Girardeau. She is a past employee of Florsheim Shoe Co.

She was a member of the American Legion auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Dustin and Jonathon, and two daughters, Tracy and Heather, all of the home; three sisters, Donna Illers and Cindy Reiminger, both of Jackson, and Terri Rice of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, the Rev. Raymond Oxford officiating. Burial will follow in Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.
