CHAFFEE -- Charity Nora Tidwell, 69 of Chaffee died Tuesday, April 1, 1997, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 6, 1927, at Arbor, daughter of Earnest Milford and Maggie Nolen Tidwell.

Tidwell was a machine operator at Florsheim Shoe Co., retiring in September 1989.

Survivors include a sister, Jewell Tidwell of Chaffee.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Revs. Charles Lance and Joe Payne officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
