DEXTER, Mo. -- Funeral for Chari Johnette Hurley of Hattiesburg, Miss., will be held at 11 a.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter. The Revs. Martin Goode and W.H. Worth will officiate. Entombment will be in Dexter Cemetery Mausoleum.
Hurley, 49, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
She was born Nov. 25, 1951, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of John H. and Dorothy Sue Joseph. She and William Hurley were married Aug. 21, 1971, at Essex, Mo.
Hurley was a legal secretary for the Bryan, Nelson, Randolph and Weathers law firm.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Aaron Hurley of Charleston, S.C., Grant Hurley of Hattiesburg; mother and stepfather, Sue and Marion Mitchell of Dexter; a brother, Terry Joseph of Wappapello, Mo.; and a sister, Karen McHand of Dexter.
She was preceded in death by her father.
