MARBLE HILL -- Chalmer O. Huffman, 90, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Dec. 28, 1995, at Bond Nursing Care Center.
He was born Sept. 2, 1905, at Whitewater, son of Columbus L. and Lena Buckner Huffman. On Nov. 10, 1925, he married Dora Opal Jauch, who preceded him in death Aug. 24, 1973.
He was a retired farmer and member of the General Baptist denomination. He lived in Bollinger County his entire life.
Survivors include a son, Nelson Huffman of McClure, Ill.; one daughter, Carolyn Woodfin of Marble Hill; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home in Marble Hill, where funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Arvil Huffman will officiate, and burial will be in Barks Chapel Cemetery near Whitewater.
