BERNIE -- Carmen Gayle "C.G." Boyle, 60, of Bernie died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at his home.
He was born Dec. 20, 1939, at Kewanee, son of Gordon and Eva Geneva Hunsperger Boyle.
Boyle was a farmer and was retired from the National Guard at Bernie. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include a son, Rodney Boyle of Tallahassee, Fla.; his mother of Bernie; two sisters, Barbara Kean of Bernie, and Sharon Daniels of Parma.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. O.H. Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery, with military rites to be conducted.
