MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Celestine Marie Eeftink, 81, of Marble Hill died Monday, June 19, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 20, 1924, at Leopold, Mo., daughter of Anthony and Rose Vandoren Stoverink. She and Lawrence Eeftink were married Sept. 13, 1947, at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold.
Eeftink was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church at Glennon, Mo., and the Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Richard Eeftink of Leopold, Leon Eeftink of Scott City, Gerald Eeftink of Jackson; three daughters, Anita Vandeven of Puxico, Mo., Mary Jansen and Edna Seiler of Leopold; a sister, Beatrice Landewee of Leopold; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Parish prayers will be at 7, followed by Knights of Columbus rosary.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Church, with Monsignor Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
