Celeste "Tudy" Mouser, 83, of Jackson passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 6, 1925, in Marble Hill, Mo., daughter of Leroy and Christina Mae Mansker Lincoln. She and Cletis Mouser were married Nov. 9, 1946, in Jackson.
Tudy worked at the former Superior Electric in Cape Girardeau, and five years at Lenco in Jackson. She was the "family seamstress" and enjoyed cooking.
Loving survivors include her husband of 62 years; a son, Bradley (Miriam) Mouser of Gordonville; a daughter, Brenda (Glenn) Elfrink of Jackson; two sisters, Marie Smith of Cape Girardeau, Bernice Dunaway of Portland, Ore.; four grandchildren, Michael and Morene Mouser, Mark Elfrink and Tara (Scott) Fischer, all of Jackson; and a great-grandson, Chase Aaron Fischer.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Dr. Brian Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
