Cecily J. McAdams, 18, of Jackson, died at 7:40 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 7, 1992, in Cape Girardeau to Bruce Lee Jr. and Beverly Michelle Markham McAdams.
Cecily loved music and enjoyed singing and played several instruments. She had been accepted to University of Missouri in Colombia and was planning on attending in the fall.
She is survived by her daughter, Alena McAdams of Jackson; parents, Bruce and Michelle McAdams of Jackson; two brothers, Lucas and Nicholas McAdams of Jackson; maternal grandmother, Brenda Markham of Jackson; paternal grandmother of Mary Leslie of Little Rock, Ark.; her fiance, Alex Gross of Jackson; one aunt, Susan (Brett) Hart of Jackson; one uncle, Ray (Marissa) Markham of Cape Girardeau; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ray Markham, and paternal grandfather, Bruce McAdams Sr.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday at Crain Funeral Home, 829 N. West End Blvd., Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
