SIKESTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Cecil E. Strachan of Sikeston will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shady Acres Church of Christ. Patrick Hogan will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Strachan, 46, died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at St. Luke Hospital in Chesterfield, Mo.
He was born April 30, 1956, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., son of Cecil E. and Minnie L. Fluellen Strachan.
Strachan was a member of Shady Acres Church.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; two daughters, Teshonda Cravens and Tia Strachan of Rochester, N.Y.; a son, Joseph Strachan of Rochester; his mother of Sikeston; two sisters, Diane Jackson of Sikeston, Margo Black of Fort Lauderdale; two brothers, Timothy Strachan of Rochester, Kenneth Strachan of Washington, D.C.; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
