ADVANCE, Mo. -- Cecil Otto Shell, 80, of Advance died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at Baptist Health Center in North Little Rock, Ark.

He was born Nov. 26, 1924, at Dongola, Mo., son of Otto and Flora Null Shell. He married Demetrius Harris, who preceded him in death in 1973.

Shell was a farmer.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a son, Paul Shell of Richmond, Texas; a daughter, Debbie Boner of Sherwood, Ark.; a brother, Glenn Shell of Advance; two sisters, Lucy Eaker of Advance, Irene Collins of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, an infant brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dongola Friendship Baptist Church at Dongola, with the Rev. James Conn officiating. Burial will be in Dongola Cemetery.
