Cecil Nunley, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at his home.
He was born Dec. 23, 1944, in Morley, Missouri, to the late Earnestine Nunley.
Cecil was a graduate of Central High School. He was employed 27 years at Procter & Gamble. He was of the Baptist belief.
He served four years in the United States Air Force, and was honorably discharged in 1968.
Survivors include two sons, Cecil Nunley Jr. of Cape Girardeau and Darius Nunley of St. Louis; four daughters, Gladys Merriweather of Michigan City, Indiana, Tonya Carter and Yolanda Carter of Cape Girardeau and Andrea Mitchell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four brothers, Jo Willie, Tommie, Anthony Ray and Ricky Nunley of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Jacqueline Nunley of Cape Girardeau; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from noon until service time today at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the church, with Stafford Moore Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Williams Funeral Home in Charleston, Missouri, is in charge of arrangements.
