ADVANCE -- Cecil Lindsey, 71, of Advance died Thursday, Oct. 12, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 18, 1924, at Winona, son of James Lindsey and Mary Ellen Price Lindsey.
He married Walter Mae Black on May 14, 1979, at New Madrid. She survives.
Also surviving is a son, Keith Lindsey of Stuttgart, Ark.; two stepsons, Bob Black and Joe Black, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Earl Gunter of Indianapolis; four sisters, Mary Gunter of Morley, Martha Hampton and Marie Wells, both of Indianapolis, and Susie Morris of Long Beach, Miss.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, George Lindsey, Arnold Lindsey and Walter Lindsey, and a half-sister, Reathie Gunter.
Friends may call between 5:30 and 8 p.m. Sunday at the Morgan Funeral Chapel of Advance.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Wayne Page officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
