C.B. LOONEY

JACKSON -- Graveside service for C.B. "Sam" Looney of Jackson will be held at 1 p.m. today at Russell Heights Cemetery. The Rev. Don Covington will officiate.

There is no visitation.

McCombs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Looney, 78, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 1995, at Deal Nursing Home.

He was born Dec. 9, 1916, at Jackson, son of Charles Bernard and Frieda L. Kiehn Looney Sr.

Looney was a machinist at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill a number of years. He was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Brown of Calabash, N.C.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
