CATHERINE RENAUD

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Catherine A. Renaud, 97, of Perryville died Friday, July 21, 2000, at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Oct. 29, 1902, at Leopold, Mo., daughter of John S. and Gesina Wubker Scharenborg. She and Martin J. Renaud were married June 9, 1925. He died Nov. 22, 1961.

Renaud was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and a former member of Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include two sons, Elmer Renaud and Edward Renaud of Perryville; three daughters, Marie Schepker and Catherine Garrison of O'Fallon, Mo., Dorothy Schepker of St. Peters, Mo.; a sister, Frances Scharenborg of Perryville; 35 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sons, a grandson and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville from 3-9 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30-9:40 a.m. Monday.

A parish wake will be 7 p.m. Sunday, and a rosary will be 8:15 a.m. Monday.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Highland, Mo.
