DEXTER, Mo. -- Catherine Neuhaus, 80, of Dexter died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 26, 1920, in DeWitt, Ark., daughter of John and Lillie James Putney.
Neuhaus lived in Dexter most of her life, and attended Gospel Assembly Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jackie Cook of Sikeston, Mo., Jimmie Cook of Dexter; two daughters, Ella Blankenship of Dexter, Carolyn McNanny of St. Peters, Mo.; two brothers, Lawrence Putney of Flint, Mich., Lee Putney of Arizona; four sisters, Hester Mier of Advance, Mo., Ora Putney and Easter Larue of Dexter, Alene Baker of Michigan; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, five brothers, and five sisters.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Roy Stafford will officiate. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery at Bernie, Mo.
