Catherine L. Nelson, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center. She was born Jan. 31, 1922, in Cuba, Missouri, to Edgar and Ruth Mitchell Nelson. Survivors include a niece, Christina (Rick) Coad Kennard of Jackson; two nephews, Timothy M. (Jennifer) Coad and Michael N. (Cathy) Coad, both of Cape Girardeau; and several great-nieces and -nephews...

Catherine L. Nelson, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born Jan. 31, 1922, in Cuba, Missouri, to Edgar and Ruth Mitchell Nelson.

A private graveside service will be held in Cuba.
