BLODGETT -- Catherine M. Marshall of Blodgett died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born in St. Louis, daughter of John Patrick and Mary Elizabeth Burke Mooney. She and Ben F. Marshall Jr. were married Dec. 15, 1926, in St. Louis. He died July 29, 1966.
Marshall was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella Circle 768, Legion of Mary Auxiliary, and Blodgett Women's Club.
Survivors include three sons, Ben Marshall III of Blodgett, Thomas Marshall of Sikeston, John Marshall Sr. of Cape Girardeau; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister, and two grandsons.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 4-8 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 7:30.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Church. Officiating will be Msgr. William Stanton, Msgr. Richard Rolwing, and the Revs. Ambel Shibley, Robert Schumacher and Milton Ryan. Entombment will be in Sikeston City Cemetery Mausoleum.
