CATHERINE BUERCK

PERRYVILLE -- Catherine B. Buerck, 71, of Perryville died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 17, 1928, in Belgique, daughter of Louis W. and Louisa Ernst Schloss.

Buerck had worked at Prince Gardner Factory and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the Ladies Sodality and VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include five sons, Michael and Curt Buerck of Perryville, Craig Buerck of Altenburg, Keith Buerck of St. Peters, Mark Buerck of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Debbie Garris, Kathy Kutz, Denise Schaaf, all of Perryville, Deena Allen of Jackson; three sisters, Rose Richardet, Marveline Schumer and Norma Vernon, all of Perryville; 24 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The Ladies Sodality will hold a parish wake at 7 o'clock tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
