Catherine Baker

LILBOURN, Mo. -- Catherine Diane Baker, 47, of St. Louis died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at DePaul Health Center in St. Louis.

She was born Aug. 12, 1956, in Hayti, Mo., daughter of Bill Caldwell and Lorene Powell. She and John Baker were married May 18, 1974, at Lilbourn.

Baker was a licensed practical nurse at IHS in St. Louis. She was formerly of Lilbourn.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jason Baker of St. Louis; a daughter, Michelle Miller of Perryville, Mo.; her mother, Lorene Divinny of St. Louis; a brother, Robert Powell of Palmdale, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the General Baptist Church, with the Rev. Travis Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Mounds Park Cemetery.
