BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Catharine Corbin of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Corbin, 73, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 1994, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born July 26, 1921, in Searcy, Ark., daughter of Heber and Millie Fagan Mossman. She and Chester Corbin were married Jan. 31, 1942. He died March 28, 1988.
Corbin was a member of St. Joe General Baptist Church at Idalia.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Corbin of Bloomfield, Sherrill Corbin of Dexter; two daughters, Barbra Stoker of Bloomfield, Sharon Wilburn of Kilgore, Texas; three brothers, Cleo Mossman of Dexter, Thomas Mossman of Poplar Bluff, Hermis Mossman of Milan, Ill.; two sisters, Thelma Brown of Dexter, Mayme Sprangler of Roseburg, Ore.; two half brothers, W.J. Lowe of Piedmont, Claude Lowe of Puxico; two half sisters, Minnie O'Neal of Puxico, Josetta Brown of Clinton, Pa.; 12 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and half brother.
