SCOTT CITY -- Carrie Zelma Love, 83, of Scott City, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1993, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 27, 1909, at Gid, Ark., daughter of Dan and Pearl Hill McCoy.
She married Burton Love, Dec. 24, 1926, at Guion, Ark. He died June 14, 1989.
She was a housewife and a member of the Lafferty Community Church, near Lafferty, Ark.
Survivors include a son, Clarence Love of Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Veda Mott of Scott City; a brother, Elmer McCoy of Lakeland, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. A prayer service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Visitation will also be from 12-2 p.m. Sunday at the Pine Grove Chapel near Mt. Pleasant, Ark.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Pine Grove Chapel.
Burial will follow in Reeves Cemetery near Mt. Pleasant.
