Tamms, Ill. — Carrie S. Hale, 64, of Tamms died Saturday, April 12, 2008, at her home.
She was born March 17, 1944, at Elco, Ill., daughter of the late Ernest and Lena Sharp Butler. She and Donald W. Hale were married.
Hale was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband of Tamms; a son, Donald Wayne Hale Jr. of Tamms; a daughter, Lena Sue Bruns of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Ernest Butler of Tamms, Homer Butler of Hillsboro, Mo., Ronnie Butler of House Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Peggy and Shirley Dixon of Madison, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Steve Butler and Darrell E. Faire Sr. officiating.
Interment will be in McCrite Cemetery near Tamms.
