BENTON, Mo. -- Carolyn Grace Blankenship, 77, of Benton died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at her home.
She was born Dec. 15, 1938, in Waltham, Massachusetts, to Roy A. and Edith M. Kasper Peterson. She married Orville Lee Blankenship on Dec. 31, 1980.
Carolyn worked on the assembly line at Superior Electric. She was member of Christian Mission Church in Benton.
She is survived by her husband, Orville Blankenship; a son, Allan Rose of Chaffee, Missouri; six daughters, Joanne Rose Dudley of Lake Girardeau, Joyce Rose of Cape Girardeau, Helen Rose Natvig of Blodgett, Missouri, Paula Rose Carroll of Kelso, Missouri, Cherlyn Blankenship Stone and Cassidy Stone of Benton; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service Sunday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Teresa Marshall Williams officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
