Caroline Ann Glueck, 85, of Kelso, passed away on Aug. 26, 2024. A beloved farmer’s wife and former nursing home dietician, she cherished time with her family. Funeral services are set for Aug. 30 at St. Augustine Catholic Church.

Caroline Ann Glueck, daughter of Frank and Linda Westrich Kenkel, was born March 29, 1939, in New Hamburg and departed her life Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, in Kelso at the age of 85 years.

On May 10, 1958, she was united in marriage to Charles Bernard Glueck. He preceded her in death Feb. 20, 2017.

Caroline enjoyed being a farmer’s wife, spending time outdoors, gardening and watching the hummingbirds. She was a former nursing home dietitian and certified nursing assistant. She received the most joy in her life spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Jim (Corina) Glueck of Scott City; daughter-in-law, Sandy Glueck of Scott City; special son and daughter, Craig Tolle of Scott City and Tina Davis of Plant City, Florida; 11 grandchildren, Chuck, Chris, Johnathon, Rebecca, Amy, Ryan, John, Rachel, Tiffany, Tyler and Taylor; several great-grandchildren; brother, Elmer Kenkel of Scott City; sister, Doris Roth of Scott City; and other relatives and many friends.

Besides her husband and parents, Caroline was preceded in death by one son, Bernard Charles Glueck; two daughters, Susan Jensen and Linda Payne; two brothers, Paul and Larry Kenkel; and one sister, Rosie Glueck.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, with the Rev. Tom Wilk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
