CAROLINE FINGER

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Carolina Wilhelmina Finger, 91, formerly of Perryville, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in Lakota, N.D.

She was born Aug. 31, 1909, at Hildabrendt, Mo., daughter of Edward Heinrich and Maria Karoline Friedericka Bangert Grosse. She and Hugo Finger were married Dec. 24, 1938. He died May 16, 1961.

Finger had worked in a shoe factory and was a nurse aide at nursing homes. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lutheran Laymen League and Berean Bible Class.

Survivors include a son, Claiborne Finger of Grand Forks, N.D.; two daughters, Vera Randall of Maquoketa, Iowa, Doloros McFadd of Camden, Del.; three stepsons, Otto Finger of Casa Grande, Ariz., Norman Finger of Manchester, Iowa, Arlen Finger of Chanhassen, Minn.; 21 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three stepchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
