Carole Jean Frick, 87, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 at Southeast Hospital. She was born Jan. 6, 1934, in St. Louis to the late William Henry and Irene McCullough Foster. She and Vernon Harris Frick were married June 6, 1953, in St. Johns, Missouri. He preceded her in death Aug. 17, 2007...

Carole Jean Frick, 87, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 at Southeast Hospital.

She was born Jan. 6, 1934, in St. Louis to the late William Henry and Irene McCullough Foster.

She and Vernon Harris Frick were married June 6, 1953, in St. Johns, Missouri. He preceded her in death Aug. 17, 2007.

Carole was a member of Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills. She worked at Southeast Hospital as a secretary.

Survivors include her sons, James "Jim" (Sue) Frick of Omaha, Nebraska, and Ralph "Vincent" Frick of Washington; daughters, Nancy Gress of Indianapolis, Indiana; Caroline Jepson of Pinehurst, North Carolina; and Natalie Frick of Seattle, Washington; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special children, Ryan and Makenzie; and her beloved dog, Molly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Scripture Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Pat and Eldon Fornkohl and family, Cindy Rigdon and family, Amy Schnickert and family and Pastor Rogers.
